Quasimorph (2026) — Free Download for PC

Quasimorph is a turn-based roguelike extraction game set in a solar system that corporations have carved up between themselves and are quietly at war over. You are a mercenary taking contracts you probably should not read too closely, dropping onto stations and colonies with a loadout you chose and a shuttle you have to reach again. Developed by Magnum Scriptum, it is bleak, dense and unusually cruel, and the deeper you push into a level the less that level resembles the one you landed on.

🎯 Every Turn Costs Something

Combat is turn-based and ruthlessly specific. Ammunition types matter, weapon condition degrades, body-part targeting changes what an enemy can still do to you, and a single badly chosen exchange can end a run outright. There is no regenerating health and no forgiving margin — you win fights by refusing the ones you cannot afford.

📦 Loot Only Counts If You Leave

Nothing you find is yours until you reach extraction. The pull between clearing one more room and walking away with what you already have is the entire game, and it is extremely good at making you greedy. Runs are lost far more often to one extra door than to any enemy the game puts in front of you.

👹 Reality Comes Apart

Kill enough and the Quasimorphosis begins. Demonic entities bleed through into the station, the layout stops behaving, and a routine contract turns into something you are simply trying to survive. It is the mechanic the game is named for and it reliably arrives at the worst possible moment.

🎒 Inventory As A Real Decision

Weight, space and durability are all hard constraints. Choosing what to leave behind on the floor of a room you will never see again is a genuine decision with consequences, not an inventory-management formality, and it shapes how every extraction plays out.

🛠️ Progression That Survives Death

Between runs you develop your base, unlock manufacturing chains and recruit new mercenaries. Losing a character hurts and costs you their gear, but it never wipes your account — the campaign is built to absorb repeated failure and keep moving forward.

🌑 A Very Unpleasant Future

Grimy isometric visuals, a cold industrial score and item descriptions that quietly build out the corporate hellscape you are working for. Mouse-and-keyboard focused, with a modest hardware footprint and full graphics options.
