ROME REMASTERED is a classic game with a modern graphical design, optimized for 4K and ultra-wide screens, and native support for UHD resolution. The graphics have been improved across a wide range of game elements, including updated building and object models, as well as climate and weather phenomena (such as dust clouds and haze). The updated campaign maps feature high-resolution models, and the battlefield features new unit textures, with updated models as well.

ROME REMASTERED includes many modern features and improvements to game mechanics. The camera has been improved, map rotation has been added, and a larger zoom scale has been added to the campaign mode. Heat maps and new layer icons (such as diplomacy and security) have been added to the game mechanics. The tactical map now shows unit status and range icons, which will make it much easier to manage troops on the battlefield.
