The Universim (2025) — Free Download for Mac
Take direct control of your own planets; guide a civilization through the ages. Create an unshakable empire in The Universim, a new class of God Simulator game.
Your time has come. Guide a young civilization through life's endless trials. Create a modest settlement and watch your people grow and improve under your watchful eye! Influence decisions and punish the ungrateful with a wide range of divine abilities! Interact with objects, cause terrible disasters, and send your bewildered charges flying into orbit. This is your world, and nothing will stop you from having endless fun.
Our goal is to bring back all the features that made you love the classic God Simulator games and spice them up with fresh ideas, a modern physics engine and a visual, graphical style developed by just a few people on our team.
Meet the Nuggets, a fragile and somewhat eccentric people who rely on your guidance and mentorship to help them build and grow. Help them, and they will soon write their own story. Each Nugget is a unique individual with a special set of traits and characteristics. Like all living creatures, Nuggets will need basic natural resources to survive. Water to drink, food to eat, and recreational activities to increase their happiness and quality of life. Recreational activities may include some very explosive ideas! You have been warned.
Over time, you will notice that your Nuggets behave like real, living people. Each of them has their own thoughts and needs - they are even capable of making important decisions from time to time. We would like you to understand: you are interacting with living beings, and not trying to manage the chaotic movement of your ant farm.
Planets in Universim are not just made up of a bunch of beautifully arranged objects; all objects are connected to each other and play an important role in the ecosystem of each planet. Every tree that is cut down, every resource that is mined, and every animal that is hunted affects the world the Nuggets live in. Insufficient animal numbers and massive pollution will gradually lead to a global increase in temperature, while constant hunting and fishing will lead to the extinction of various species. Your mission is to manage the Nuggets and how they collect and use resources. What mark will you leave on the ecosystem that existed for a million years before your arrival? Will you quickly use up all available resources to the detriment of the planet, or will you approach the development of your civilization strategically?
In The Universim, nature is as beautiful and unpredictable as ever. Each planet holds a few surprises that are sure to challenge your civilization. From tornadoes that devour everything in their path to thunderous earthquakes that threaten to split your civilization in two. If you treat nature poorly, it may show you how cruel and unforgiving it can be. Each planet you encounter will have a unique side. Some planets are calm and full of resources, while others are barren and danger
