Return to Monkey Island is the unexpected and incredible return of series creator Ron Gilbert, continuing the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island: LeChuck's Revenge, developed in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.

Many years have passed since the last battle between Guybrush Threepwood and his arch-enemy, the zombie pirate LeChuck. The love of his life, Elaine Marley, has retired from the governor's affairs, and Guybrush himself has never solved the Mystery of Monkey Island and is simply adrift. New young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have removed the old guard from power, things are getting worse on Massacre Island, and the famous businessman Stan has been jailed for "advertising crimes."

Chat playfully with old friends and new characters, but don't forget that familiar islands have become much more dangerous under new leadership. Go to the open sea and explore new unknown places. On the path to glory, Guybrush will face insidious plots of enemies, tricky puzzles and will get into many funny situations.

The Return of the Crazy Quest

Classic gameplay reimagined for the modern age, with fearless pirates solving puzzles and exploring islands using the original game's cleverly reworked and improved controls. Context-sensitive interactions, reactive dialogue branches, and a simplified inventory system make being a pirate much easier.

Adventures on the archipelago are calling

Traverse the friendly (mostly) landscape of Carnage Island, a familiar place now under a new government that has cornered old friends and new characters alike. Explore uncharted lands like the aptly named Dread Island and the chilling settlements of Brr-Mud in search of allies and enemies.

The thrilling conclusion to the iconic Monkey Island series sees the return of its celebrated creator Ron Gilbert, joined by co-creator Dave Grossman, art director Rex Crowl (Knights & Bikes, Tearaway) and composers Peter McConnell, Michael Land and Clint Bajakian (Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge).
