Monospaced Lovers is a semi-hardcore platformer adventure that breaks the standard notions of the Metroidvania genre. It features exploration-based missions in the style of early Zelda games, coupled with a visual novel-inspired story that is both dramatic and philosophical.

We tried to make the game original and fresh, so that it would be perceived as something more than a mix of two long-standing genres.

Plot:

One fine morning, Clara wakes up with someone else's phone.

In it, she discovers a cryptic message from a hacker named D̵v̴o̵i̴ch̸n̷y̴ ̴b̷o̸g̴, telling her that her days in this world are numbered. Her only clue is a series of encrypted messages stored on the device... and a mysterious new friend who also woke up with someone else's phone.
