Life is Strange is an episodic adventure set in the fictional town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon. The story of a friendship that could have ended quickly if not for Max's suddenly discovered talent. She has found a gift in herself - the ability to rewind time. But it is still unclear how exactly this works and what it could lead to.

It all starts with saving the main character's friend, Chloe, who was shot in the stomach, but she's unlikely to know about it. As a witness to her death, you try to prevent what's happening, which leads to rewinding time. Now you have the right to change the course of events, influence the past, future, present, and it won't end with preventing the death of an old friend. Soon the couple will reveal the shocking truth about the disappearance of their classmate. Meanwhile, Max must realize the opportunities she's received, her power over time, and learn to use it without harming others.

You take on the role of an unlikely rebel in Dontnod's dark prequel to the hit 2016 game Life is Strange. Set three years before the dramatic events of the original game, Before the Storm returns you to the fictional town of Arcadia Bay, where 16-year-old Chloe Price unexpectedly befriends the pretty and popular local girl Rachel Amber.
