Features of Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Larian's script department was not happy with the final look of Original Sin 2. They had to add and rewrite 150,000 words. The developers changed the third act of the story especially strongly - we are talking about additional dialogues, differently scripted events and redesigned characters.

In the difficulty level selection menu, you will come across a new option – Story Mode. The number of resurrections of fallen adventurers in it is not limited, and you can rush away from the battlefield at any time. Story Mode is designed for that part of the audience that is not on first-name terms with old-school party “role-playing games”. The training location is also addressed to them.

The PvP arena now features new heroes, maps, and ways to kill enemies. You can fight online or in the good old hot seat mode (two players on one computer).

Larian has carefully analyzed the use of skills in Original Sin 2 (their number has increased compared to the first part, by the way). Those that were rarely used in battles have become much stronger. A reason to study them!

In addition, the authors revised the prices for armor (the more useful, taking into account the statistics from the community, the more expensive), rewrote the quest diary, corrected the interface and threw markers on the map.
